Hello all, here are the award ribbons I made for the winning entries. Guild member, Anita Hastings did the machine embroidery for me, and fellow quilter Therese Cingranelli donated some of the fabric. I purchased the pink ribbon fabric from JoAnn's. The judging will take place on Tuesday, August 25th at Sew Many Quilts in Johnson City (http://www.smquilts.com/) - thank you Joyce for letting us use your classroom! Our esteemed panel of judges are going to have a difficult time picking the winners - they are all so wonderful. Thank you everyone for participating.
Judged Categories: Most Innovative, Best Use of Embellishment, Best Use of Color, Most Effective Breast Cancer Message, Most Humorous
Ribbons will also be given for the following: Judges Choice (one for each judge), Viewers Choice (as determined by $1 Braziere Ballots) and Highest Bid (at the auction on November 6, 2009)
