“Mardi Bras”
Embellishments & Techniques: Feathers, beads, peel and stick felt, Mardi Gras stickers and letters (for scrap books), peacock feather, glitter glue. (I changed it to Mardi “Bras” for this project!)
Artist’s Statement: Mardi Gras is French and a famous French saying is Joie de Vive – which means Joy of Life. What better statement for someone battling breast cancer than to seek the Joy of Life and enjoy it! Every precious moment of it! I dedicate this to all my patients past, present and future!
