Artist’s Statement: Picnics are a great way to spend quality time with people you care about. It could be a romantic outing with someone special, a family get-together or a celebration of friendships. Although it might rain or insects may invade, friendship means being there at all times whether it’s good or bad. The purpose and meaning of friendship is to make life’s burdens lighter for our friends and not make them heavier. Friendship makes prosperity brighter, while it lightens adversity by sharing its grief and anxieties.
