#9 Renée Gaylord of “My Stars”
Embellishments & Techniques: No special techniques used. I started this with the vision of “hearts” but that plan did not look like what I wanted it to – so I used the star fabric and only covered the bra.
Artist’s Statement: My heart goes out to breast cancer women. As a student, my OR rotation was memorable, as my first surgery I observed was a radical mastectomy. May God bless every woman who endures this surgery and give her the strength to fight and recover the battle. Bless the organizers of this worthwhile awareness project!
