#48 Kristin Thompson of “Bee Cup”
Embellishments & Technique: Cotton fabric glued to bra surface, sides and back of the bra painted with fabric paint, silk leaves and flowers glued to surface, pipe cleaner, beads, glitter, ribbon, and Angelina fibers.
Artist’s Statement: “Bee Cup” is a light hearted look at the B-cup bra. I would like to dedicate my entry to dear, dear Stephani who is currently undergoing chemotherapy for breast cancer. She always makes me laugh. I hope to return the favor.
