Artist’s Statement: Participating in this project generated so many thoughts and images that it was very difficult to finally choose a treatment for this bra. One thought that kept coming back to me was that breasts nurture life ... and can take it away. I lost a beloved cousin to breast cancer and so I dedicate this bra to Debbie Duncan Gabriel.
